The web is full of dark patterns: design tricks built to distract you, enrage you, trick you out of your money or keep you hooked.

Tripe is a browser extension that checks the pages you browse as they load and change. When it finds a dark pattern it pops up an overlay explaining the trick and the risk. You can still browse on, but you’ll be forewarned.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Tripe is prototype grade software. Pages are analysed remotely, so the analysis service sees what you browse.
